New shoes!

20140126-182314.jpg
A couple of weeks ago it was my birthday and my lovely Dad remembered that I had kindly sent him a link for these New Balance’s just before Christmas. Personally I love having my birthday just after Christmas for this exact reason! 20140126-182856.jpg
I had my eyes on these little beauties from before Christmas when I was interning at Asos Magazine where they must have had every single style of New Balance’s ever made in their fashion cupboard. After 4 weeks of lusting over everything and anything we had coming in from the buyers, I put these on my Christmas/Birthday wish list. I’ve wanted some black trainers since last summer but couldn’t justify spending £50+ on a pair of shoes I really don’t need haha.

Even though these are a size 5, I think they look really small (which I love). I wanted these ones because even though they are all black they still have a pop of colour and will be so versatile when jazzing up a boring Sunday outfit. Oh and they are so comfortable!

Like I said I got these bad boys from ASOS and they are currently on there for £60. Not to shabby for a decent pair of trainers that look and feel uh-mazin! Now I have these in my ever expanding shoe collection it has only opened my eyes to all the other trainers that would look so good on my tattooed little feet! Hahaa (only kidding, but really I want them all!!!)

TGIF!

Thank god it’s Friday!20140124-212149.jpg
Definitely have that Friday feeling today, although I’m sad to say goodbye to an amazing 6 weeks at Marie Claire, where I have been interning for the amazing fashion dept (who have also given me these unreal goodies). TGIF means it’s treat day, say helloooo to this amazing fish finger wrap from Tossed! Literally died and went to heaven eating this bad boy. So excited for my week off work before starting at Red at the beginning of February!

Disneyland Paris Adventure – Part One

Disneyland is the most magical place of them all!!!Image
Every since I went to Disneyland Paris 2 years ago for my 21st birthday, I have wanted to go back so so much! As most of my friends that graduated were getting cute graduation gifts like jewellery, handbags, holidays and even cars! I wanted to go back to Disneyland like the big kid I am. I thought I would break this post up in to two posts because it would be quite picture heavy otherwise. Nothing like a little trip away to Disneyland Paris to brighten up the New Year!

Delicious chocolate brownie with cream and ice cream (I did have a main course, I promise! Just forgot to take a picture, oopsies)

Annette’s American Diner from outside, really fun restaurant in the Disney Village and great food. The whole inside is decked out exactly like Grease and even has all the amazing tunes to go along with it too.

So there is part one of my Disneyland Paris post, part two will be up very soon. Just looking at the pictures again I want to go back already. I chose to go to Disney just after the New Year because I wanted to see all the Christmas decorations and parades as I am such a huge fan of everything Christmas related, it was so nice to hold onto the Christmas spirit for a little bit longer than usual. I only went for 3 days and 2 nights and managed to cram in every fun ride, parade and firework display possible.

See you soon for part two!

Happy New Year!

Well 2013 was pretty great all in all, filled with amazing uni memories and achievements, lots of amazing internships and fun filled adventures to Scotland, Guernsey and Gran Caneria. Of course 2013 had it’s highs and low’s but it’s time to move on and focus on the New Year and get a few things in check.Image

I created this cute little quote design last summer when leaving uni, using an image of some L.A palm trees, a range of filters, overlay of text and cute border. I really enjoy experimenting with cool iPhone apps so creating cute things like this is right up my street.

Travel more- Now I certainly don’t have the money for some big time travelling (just yet) but I do want to make sure I get to visit old friends and family across the UK. However, in a few days I will be off for a short break to Disneyland Paris and cannot freakin wait!!!!

Save Save Save- Now this one will be the trickiest, I want to try and save my little pennies for one big adventure. Stop spending money on silly eBay finds that I really don’t need and try to put as much money as I can in that savings account of mine.

Work hard- This is the one aspect of my life I haven’t figured out just yet, cracking into the fashion industry is so difficult and expensive! But wherever I end up and whatever job I end up doing, I will be working hard!

Get fit- What a classic, gotta throw this old chestnut in for good measure. As I don’t have the time (or money) to get down to the gym everyday. I will try my best to do some cheeky home exercises and YouTube vids just to keep in shape and not feel as guilty when I’m half way through a bag of Thai sweet chilli sensations.

Hope you all had a lovely NYE and a cracking start to 2014!

Graduation

The last month and a bit have been pretty crazy, I have been interning at ASOS for the last month and have had such an eventful few weeks with working and weekend adventures. In November I finally got to graduate, for the last 3 years I have been studying at Southampton Solent University and can now proudly say that I have a (BA Hons) Fashion with Photography degree! I have had the most amazing time at uni and could not recommend it enough for anyone that is thinking about applying. I left uni earlier this year in May and since then I have been interning at a range of different fashion magazines, trying to get my foot in the door.Image
Think this could well be the classiest OOTD you could ever see me in, I kept calling the sexy graduation gown my Harry Potter cape. On the left is a picture outside the Southampton Guildhall in my cap and gown. I wore a really cute Topshop embellished dress in duck egg blue. I opted for a dress that looked elegant but cute and stood out underneath the Harry Potter cape. On the right is a picture of my best friend Christiana, she was my very first best friend that I met at uni and we lived together for all 3 years at uni.Image
A few of us girls got a hotel room together to make the most of the weekend in Southampton and these pictures were taken before our Graduation Ball which was surprisingly really good. Fairplay Solent!Image
Can’t beat a nice family photo and a picture with my bestest friend and partner in crime Annie.Image

Hope you’ve enjoyed a few pictures from my Graduation, it was a really cool experience so nice to see uni friends again and obviously have a decent night out in Southampton for old times sake.

London accessories

Here are a few of my must have Autumn/Winter essentials for roaming around London in this chilly weather. Including… A super cute tartan scarf (don’t wanna brag BUT I got mine early this year in Edinburgh before all the hype) The infamous Arabel 2 Topshop boots, very important to invest in a good pair of boots this winter especially if they have a cut out detail to show off an awesome pair of HUF socks! A boring but very necessary umbrella, I would definitely double up and have a hood and umbrella as it is soo windy and wet in London at the moment. And finally the travel must haves, I would be completely lost if it wasn’t for my iPhone and the amazing City Mapper app. Lastly a cute oyster card case and an oyster card for the dreaded London underground.
